Smart-Trace Field Trials where successfully completed throughout 2006

Smart-Trace Field Trials were successfully carried out during 2006 using leading perishables consignors and independently audited by Food Science Australia/CSIRO. The trials included both road and rail journeys across Australia and sea-going journeys to export markets Japan and Korea.

The above still frame shows the temperature in a trailer 113.8 hrs into a 5day journey from Brisbane to Fremantle. The cargo was mixed frozen beef and chicken portions (<-18°C desired). Note the heat effect along left side of vehicle from lack of airflow, possibly due to load shifting against side wall.
